Rachel is a licensed attorney from North Carolina with an interest in international topics and health related asbestos news. She received her law degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in History from UNC, as well as minors in English Literature and Spanish for the Professional.
She studied abroad for a semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina during her undergraduate career where began to develop a passion for other countries and cultures.
She enjoys researching and writing about a wide range of topics, but has a strong interest in the international politics of asbestos and the handling of resulting health issues by other countries. Rachel believes that the United States has a lot to learn from other nations, both in the way they’ve dealt with asbestos issues domestically and the way that they care for mesothelioma patients.
