Managing Partner Joseph Belluck announced that the New York-based firm of Belluck & Fox LLP will be expanding with a new Boston office. This is the first time that this firm moved to a state other than New York and New Jersey because it is based on new clients who have been flocking to the organization for litigation help in states such as Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
Addressing Mesothelioma Epidemic in New England
Belluck cited the devastating rates of mesothelioma, particularly in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, where few legal services are available. As part of its broader national expansion, Boston’s presence is designed to address the need for in-service and subject matter expertise on behalf of local clients.
Belluck is the managing partner of Belluck & Fox, LLP in New York and leads the firm’s office in Boston, where it has significant experience helping asbestos victims. The office, located in Back Bay offers a critical resource to those who need assistance as they navigate the still-raging fallout of asbestos.
And while there are no immediate plans for additional expansion, Belluck said the firm is open to considering opportunities in the future. Belluck & Fox LLP, which has a team of 14 attorneys licensed in five states including New York and Illinois, as well as California and Florida, to represent mesothelioma victims nationwide.
Since being founded in 2002, Belluck & Fox has recovered more than $1 billion in verdicts and settlements for mesothelioma cases. Together with co-founder Jordan Fox, Belluck has been litigating the most significant legal victories that have helped victims and forced corporations to answer for their inaction.
Belluck & Fox LLP is a pivotal legal advocate for victims of asbestos exposure, with its most recent victories being a $10 million settlement for the family of a deceased Massachusetts hospital worker and multiple wins in verdicts across New York.
