John Edwards Is a husband, father, veteran and medical writer, from the state of California. After serving 9 years in the U.S Army Medical Department, John cultivated his passion for serving his country and helping people. He often volunteers with helping to rehabilitate veterans of all ages. After John’s father was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, he began to research, write and fight for ways to help other victims of asbestos exposure.
Rachel is a licensed attorney from North Carolina with an interest in international topics and health-related asbestos news. She received her law degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in History from UNC, as well as minors in English Literature and Spanish for the Professional.
Rachel believes that the United States has a lot to learn from other nations, both in the way they’ve dealt with asbestos issues domestically and the way that they care for mesothelioma patients.
Amna is a molecular biologist and has a deep interest in the field of health and medicine. She has worked in the field of proteomics and plants molecular biology. Being a biologist herself, she has developed an interest in the field of therapeutic studies of mesothelioma and related researches.
Walter Yeates is a journalist who was embedded with Veterans Stand For when they traveled to Standing Rock. He also hosts Gentleman’s Hall a show centered around his journalism. Walter has published hundreds of articles in the realms of consumer health and workplace safety. He graduated from East Carolina University with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy.
